This page and its subcategories are under construction!
Parental Allowance
Parental allowance is one of the family benefits in Germany that is most appreciated by the population. It secures the economic existence of families and helps fathers and mothers to better reconcile family and career. It is intended to enable parents to take time for their child. Parental allowance is available in the variants: basic parental allowance, parental allowance plus, and partnership bonus - these can be combined with each other. Parental allowance is also available to separated parents

Child Benefits
Taxpaying expatriate residents of Germany are, like Germans, entitled to Kindergeld if they have children. This is an allowance (also called a Child Benefit) from the German government to help defray some of the cost of raising children. It can run from €219 to €250 per child per month, and is usually made by a fund transfer into a German bank account.
